The girls are doing well. Olivia seems to be better. She is not wheezing anymore, but she still has a cough and a little stuffiness in the mornings. Alana never got sick.....knock on wood! It makes me wonder if it was really bronchiolitis. Several of Elwin's family members have asthma and my brother had asthma as a teenager. I am thinking it may be the beginning stages for Olivia. She and Alana are both at a higher risk due to being preemies and having the chronic lung disease. Factor in the family history and that makes the odds even higher. We have a well baby visit on March 6th and I plan to speak to the doctor about it then. They got their Synagis shots on the 11th and Olivia weighed 19 pounds and Alana weighed 21.3 pounds. They got their first rose from Grandpa Arnett for Valentines Day. Mommy got three roses. Grandpa is sooo sweet! Alana wanted to eat hers and Olivia was not sure what to think. They also made a card for Daddy. They had fun trying to color and Mommy had fun trying to keep them from eating the crayons. Olivia is still working on walking. She takes about four steps before she falls. Alana is standing for a longer period of time without holding on to anything. She still hates the feeling of falling. Alana said Mama for the first time today........FINALLY. It has been Dada for the longest. We have "Baby's First TV" on our dish and the girls just love it. I keep it on for background noise and they have favorite parts where they stop to watch. It is really cute. They love anything with music. They have also really gotten into their shooting ball and tool box toy. They love to chase the balls and put them back down the hole they pop out of. I put the shapes where they go on the tool box and the girls love to push them through and flip the lid to the other side to do it again. I am sure it will not be long until they are putting the shapes where they go by themselves. They are really happy babies and are getting along very well. Of course, we still have the occasional fight now and then. Olivia is most definitely the bully! Enjoy the new pictures.
